ABOUT THE OPERATIVES

We are fortunate to have an amazing amount of wildlife on this planet. But illegal trading and poaching have dramatically reduced the survival of these magnificent creatures. Enter the Operatives.

When famed eco-warrior Pete Bethune (Whale Wars) witnessed these atrocities, he took a stand and began assembling a group of highly trained, skilled, and motivated military elite with one mission: to expose suspected criminals who are endangering our wildlife and our environment. The Operatives are now embarking on bolder and more dangerous missions in Asia, with a brand-new team tackling numerous threats to wildlife.

In this behind-the-scenes clip, Bethune drops some knowledge about the critically endangered Palawan forest turtle and his mission to expose illegal traders.

Nature’s first line of defense is back. Watch all-new episodes of The Operatives on Sundays at 10 p.m. ET/PT, only on Pivot.

The Operatives fight for oceans, for forests, and for wildlife, but they need your help.

Together, we can make a difference and save animals from further threat.
