Gunung Leuser National Park is one of the favorite national park nature lovers, because of unspoiled nature and this is one of the Leuser Conservation Areas in Indonesia which has a land area of 1,094,692 hectares. It is administratively located in two provinces of Aceh and North Sumatra. Although I know to be trekking to Gunung Leuser National Park is the closest was from Kedah Gayo Lues.

There are about 130 species can be identified in the Gunung Leuser National Park, namely: Sumatran tigers, elephants, rhinos, gibbons, monkeys, leopards, reptiles, fish, and 325 species of birds.
Gunung Leuser National Park has the highest peak of 3,381 meters and is one of the largest national parks and most diverse in Indonesia with an area of 7,927 km² on the northern tip of Sumatra.
